Arik Karim leads The SPRING Group’s flagship policymaking instrument, the SPRING Institute. He has written briefs on artificial intelligence, quantum policy, online privacy, international arms transfers, juvenile detention, and more to the United Nations, US Senate, UK Ministry of Science, Dallas County Commission, and other government agencies on local through international levels. Previously, Arik has spoken at the UN to advocate for youth integration in policymaking and filed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court of the United States on birthright citizenship. Outside of SPRING, Arik studies international economics and political science at George Washington University, and Japanese on a U.S. Department of State scholarship.
