Zakiyyah is a passionate climate advocate and social activist from Mauritius, dedicated to promoting gender equality and systemic change. As Chairman and Policy Director for the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) endorsed by YOUNGO & UNFCCC, she spearheads youth engagement in global climate negotiations. Zakiyyah serves as Chancellor of the Climate Solution International (CSI) Academy and is a member of CSI's Global Advisory Board and Policy Team. She is also an expert and researcher at UNESCO's Inclusive Policy Lab, focusing on innovative climate solutions. Outside her advocacy work, Zakiyyah enjoys drafting policy proposals, conducting research, and participating in international leadership programs.
